Angelina Barry… Shadle Senior. This cutie wanted flowers and we found them! If you haven’t checked out Half Moon Blooms, I highly recommend! For a small sitting fee, you can use their BEAUTIFUL flower garden that has every bloom imaginable. While Angelina and I chased the sun, her mom took full advantage of the U-pick bucket of flowers included in the sitting fee and ended up bringing home the most GORGEOUS bouquet. Angelina picked a few too obviously to add to the bunch. Good news… it’s not too late to visit the farm. Although it’s too late now for the sunflower field, the garden still has lots of fall life left! This cute girl is spunky and smiley and sweet! She’s a volleyball player and wants to be a NICU nurse when she grows up. She’s doing running start so will get to shorten her time in nursing school by a couple years to go help those babies sooner. Angelina you will be the best nurse! Hope senior year is amazing 💕

Ava & her girls… yesterday I shared that Ava added a mini session onto her senior shoot and started her evening with her 3 besties. Ava Nelson… Lewis & Clark Senior. This shoot started off with me being handed fresh-off-the-vine blackberries by Ava’s mom. I LOVE blackberries! I for sure ate the entire container that night. THANK YOU Katie!!! Then Ava and her 3 friends hoped out of cars wearing the most adorable white dresses and cowboy boots and we did a buddy mini-session (I’ll share that next!). Then they stayed and explored all over with us while Ava did her senior pics. The weather was amazing and I couldn’t have asked for a more fun shoot! Ava is a doll from the inside out. She runs cross country and plays tennis at LC. She’s also in National Honors Society and is the president of the Sports Medicine Club at her school. She loves traveling, shopping, being at the lake, hanging with her friends, rom-coms, ice skating, and pickleball (YES AVA!!!). As I’m typing this I realize we have all the same hobbies and should probably be friends Ava. It’s ok if you keep bringing blackberries when we hang out too 😜 So fun with all of you… have the BEST senior year girls!

Lundberg Family… this year was pretty epic for this fam. Their oldest daughter graduated from college and their youngest from high school. Double grads 👩‍🎓 👩‍🎓I can’t believe it. I remember when they were little. And I’m still 29 so not sure how this happened. Congrats beautiful Syd & Ros!!! You are both incredible and I’m excited for all that’s ahead for you! Ava Lamb… Mead Senior. Poor Ava, I made that girl hike ALLLLL over, up and down, and along the river to find the best spots! But she was game. Even in her cute white leather sandals 😩 Such a trooper! Ava is a golfer at Mead and is involved in many clubs. She hopes to go somewhere warm for college like California and major in English to become a lawyer! She loves the summer and the warm weather! When she’s not golfing, she is hanging out with her friends and family and spending time at the lake! Love your plan Ava and I’m excited to watch you make it happen!

💙LAKESIDE HIGH SCHOOL💚

This place is special. I’ve been lucky over the years and through the seasons to shoot many senior photos, sporting events, senior nights, media days, cap n gown sessions, etc. I realized pretty quickly upon moving out here that this is the kind of community I wish everyone could be part of. It’s multiple generations at every Friday night game, coaches who used to be LHS athletes, teachers who used to be students, families who eat meals together, neighbors who borrow cups of sugar, administrators who are willing to sweep floors.

But our facilities are old. In fact of all the schools we’ve traveled to for games, in and out of district, ours is clearly the oldest and most run down. We’ve tried to pass a bond for a new building but sadly it didn’t pass. We tried to pass a levy to repair our leaky roof and replace our ancient HVAC system but again no pass. Then the Spokane fires. Our community was hit hard and so many lost so much.

But the resiliency out here is ridiculous! Athletes still show up at 6am for weights and grind on the football field until dark. Businesses still sponsor Boosters. Families make team dinners. Staff makes every repair possible with the budget given. And everyone takes pride in what’s theirs.

So we are going ALLLLLL in with T-Mobile’s Friday Night Lights 5G contest to try and win the LHS community a little bit of something new. Please help us by LIKING this and even SHARING it so others can LIKE it. Every LIKE is a vote for Lakeside… and I promise, they really deserve it! 💙

Jalycia Tennison… Mead Senior. Jalycia was a competitive dancer most her life. I love that she brought her ballet slippers to her shoot! Although she doesn’t compete any more, she has a wealth of talent & knowledge to bring to her high school cheer team now. She loves cheering and the people she’s met while doing so! She also does running start at Eastern and when she graduates she would love to finish her degree there and pursue nursing. Sounds like such a great plan Jalycia! And anyone having you take care of them would be so lucky! You are the sweetest… even at 6am!!!💕



I am apart of my high school cheer team and take a lot of pride in who the person it has helped me become along with the amazing people I have met through it. I am a running start student at Eastern Washington University and I plan to continue my education there after graduating and pursue nursing. Before cheer I was also a competitive dancer for 11 years and it was a huge part of my life and something very important to me. I am super excited and I can’t wait!!

Sean Keesee… Mt Spokane Senior. Sean is such a nice guy! We met at the Bowl & pitcher and he did whatever I asked him to do all over that park. I’m so glad we went there because I believe it was affected by the Spokane fires and I cherish every shoot I was able to do prior. When he’s not tromping around a state park with me 😜,he loves snowboarding and video games. Sean I hope you have a great senior year!!!

It’s perfect because she’s a cheerleader. 📣 At one point in our shoot when I told her to do something and warned she might feel ridiculous, she said thats what her cheer coach tells her.. that if you don’t feel ridiculous, you’re not doing it right! Such a great quality when someone can stand in front of a crowd and feel ridiculous but be ok with it! I think that’s going to work well for you in life Jayleigh! Have the best senior year!

Peyton Boston… Shadle senior. I remember Peyton when she was TINY and in swim lessons with my boys. I can’t believe she’s now a senior. She’s strong and determined and smart and confident. Peyton you are going places and I’m so excited for you! Have the best senior year!
