WOODLAND WATERPARK SESSION

Seeking one family for a creative summer storytelling session at Woodland Waterpark in Kalispell during the last week of June ☼

This session will be a mix of documentary storytelling and creative editorial imagery — focused on connection, nostalgia, and the feeling of a real summer evening together.

I want to capture the entire experience:
the sunscreen and towels piled into the car, little feet running toward the entrance, floaties, laughter, and ice cream at the concessions afterwards.

This session will be during evening open swim and I would be present from arrival at the park until after it closes.

Ideally looking for:
— a family with 3-4 children
— mix of children of all ages
— parents who are comfortable with an immersive experience - allowing me to follow you from the car until after close - documentary vibes + some posed creative shots as well
— a family who genuinely loves summer and doesn’t mind embracing movement, play, and a little chaos

— willing to curate swim suits to meet the “nostalgic” American summer vibes

Both parents must be present for safety reasons, as I would love the freedom to create individual images with one parent while the other keeps eyes on the children around the water. Safety is an absolute priority for me during this session.

Because this is a creative project with a handful of specific requirements, a signed model release for social media and portfolio usage will be required.

This session is heavily discounted from my standard full storytelling session rate.
Typically valued at $700, this creative session will be offered at $275 and will include the full gallery.

Backyard Wedding

There is something special about them that truly no venue can manufacture.

The word luxury gets used a lot in the wedding industry, and I think to most people when they hear the word “luxury” they think of lavish venues, travel destinations, exclusive guest lists, etc.

But when I hear the word luxury, I think legacy. Heritage. Family owned. Intimate.

I picture grandparents sitting on a porch they built, looking out into a yard they’ve created thousands of other memories on, watching as this one gets slowly added to the bank.

I picture the soft morning sun rising through the window the same way it did when the bride or groom was a child - and that feeling of peace and comfort that over comes them because this is a day that was built around presence, not performance.

I picture the guest count small. Small and intentional, filled with the people who truly matter and are happy to be there.

And I also picture myself - standing to the side, listening to a parent telling the story. When the property was bought and built, how it got passed down, fingers pointing to all of the people who have passed through it, leaving their own little marks throughout the years.

To me, that is luxury - taking something perfectly mundane and turning it into something deeply intentional for one night.

A few of my favorites from past Spring Minis 🦋

Spring motherhood sessions feel different than other motherhood sessions. They move with the rhythm of nature — a season of renewal, rebirth, and soft beginnings.

It’s a time when mothers meet their children in a new season… and often meet themselves again too. Reconnecting with their own inner child, feeling the warmth return, noticing beauty more easily again.

The fire within begins to stir — inviting inspiration, creativity, and presence.

To me, it really is this deep.
