It was such a joy getting to photograph Betsy again! Since our last session, she’s been busy booking commercials and teaching fitness classes and our goal for this time was to create standout images for auditions that feel warm, vibrant, and true to who she is. I love creating portraits that reflect the natural confidence and joy people carry with them every day.

Spring in the studio with no trending audio. 🕊️
When we built this studio, we prayed often that it would be a place where people felt welcome, seen, and beautiful exactly as they are. A place where nerves settle, and people can simply be themselves.

My biggest goal during a session is never just to take a flattering photo. It’s to help someone feel at ease enough that their real spirit starts to shine through. The truest expressions, the personality, the little moments that actually feel like them - these are the things I’m always looking for because the heart of my work has always been to reflect the beauty of the individual back to them. To show them what I and many others see every day.

During the Spring especially, the studio can feel like such a reflection of that intention. Calm, warm, honest and alive.

Senior Previews for gorgeous Claire 😍 I absolutely loved working with Claire to create her senior photos and our Spokane Spring was really bringing it for her session! It can tricky to guess the weather and if there will blooms on our property and Claire’s session ended up falling at exactly the right time for some golden hour magic 🌱🌺🌅
