We just got back from a quick Getaway trip to Las Vegas, just the two of us. No Family. No Kids. Just Friends. And... It was fun.

Going into it I was a little hesitant, just because I didn't know anyone who was going to be there. These were all Angie's past classmates from Bible College, AND their spouses. So of course the introverted me was guarded but instantly let go once I found out how great they were.

I had a great time with my wife. Pretty much disconnected the phone from work, did some shopping and EVEN endured the sun. It was a scorcher.

Ran into some celebrities. Had a few beers. Walked the strip and ate my fill at the best Buffet on the strip. I'm fancy now because I had caviar so expect my booking fees to go up. 🤌🏾

It's a joy to be back, still recovering but of course the highlight was seeing my family, spending time with my wife, and checking off this little adventure for 2026.

What a fun weekend.

Its weird that growing up my family always told me to avoid Idaho, now as an adult, Father, and Husband...I do everything I can to be a part of it.

God, Freedom, Family and Friends. It's a great place to be. The last paradise in the country. Protect it at all cost. 🇺🇸🙏🏾
