This was my 1st time taking portraits with the manual M42 mount, TT Artisan 100mm 2.8 trioplan and 250mm 5.6 mirror reflex and lens.
Both lenses could be considered reproductions of early designs. Trioplan lenses date back to the 1890’s. Since they are early designs, anti glare and flare coatings are not a part of these lenses.

In order to take advantage of the unquie bokeh from these lens, i used a sunny lake as a background.

While these lenses are fun to explore, I’m used to using sharp G Master primes for portraits, and it’s going to take a while to get used to the softness of these older design lenses.

PSA
I found today that I lost 8TB of RAW photo files due to storms.
However, that's not a problem. It's just going to take a day of downloading my backup from the cloud.
In the past I've used RAID boxes only to have both original
and mirror drives fail. Take my advice, you're not fully protected with a mirror raid. As we've seen from Western Digital and other drive companies recently, no manufacturer is truly reliable.

I've been using Crahsplan for a few years on an unlimited storage account with almost constant cloud backup. We'll see after a day of downloading today, but they've never failed me yet.
If you're making content, I highly recommend using a cloud backup service.
