I want them to look back at their photographs 50 years from now and be able to relive those beautiful moments just as they happened. I aspire to capture the natural romance and candid moments of the entire day as it unfolds. From the moment the bride slips on that detailed dress to when those newlyweds run past

the sparklers to the get away car, I will be there photographing every memory to tell their beautiful story. The moment they realize they’ll love their wedding photos!

I never thought I’d be the photographer editing wedding photos DURING the wedding, but I’m loving how much my couples LOVE it! And here’s how I’m doing it:

When I’m taking photos during the day, I already mentally noting which photos would be good photos to quickly download and edit later. I usually pick 5-10 and it’s usually a couple of getting ready, portraits, wedding party, a ceremony shot, a reception detail, and a fun first dance or reception entrance photo.

During dinner I bring out my computer, pop in the memory card, and quickly download those photos. I try not to overthink it. Just a handful of fun photos to show the couple later in the night.

I drag them into Lightroom, throw on a preset and a few tweaks, then export and airdrop to my phone.

Is it a pain to bring my computer? yes. Do I get to relax during dinner? not much. Is it worth it? 100% yes!
