**Fair Warning. . . .this is a long one 😂

It hits a little different when a fellow business Mama,
someone you’ve bartered services with for YEARS,
chooses you to capture her most precious family moments. 🥹❤️

At this point, we’ve completely lost track of the tit for tat. 😂
Honestly, I don’t think either of us has kept track in years.

We just continue to trade back and forth, support each other’s businesses, send people each other’s way and somehow along the way… it became so much more than just “bartering services.”

We became friends. ❤️

And THAT is honestly one of my greatest joys after all these years in business.

The incredible women I’ve met.
The friendships that started because of photography.
The fellow small-business Mamas who understand the crazy schedules, late nights, juggling kids + clients, and pouring your whole heart into something you built yourself.

Sometimes we trade services. Sometimes one of us probably gets the better end of the deal. 😂 And sometimes we have absolutely NO IDEA whose “turn” it even is anymore.

And I kinda love that. 🥹

Because at some point it stopped being about keeping score.

We’re just two business Mamas cheering each other on, sharing our talents and doing life along the way. ❤️
