Dogs should remain on leash unless they’re well-trained and can safely pose off leash between shots.

There are so many things I want to say right now but simply don’t have the words for.

So first let me say thank you to everyone for the shares, the tips, the donations — everything.

Aladar ran farther than anyone expected him to. He was sighted the night of the 4th where he was found curled up with an outdoor dog, but the people didn’t catch him then. Then today, around noon, they saw him again and brought him in.

From there they reached out to a wonderful couple who also happens to foster for the shelter, and that couple recognized him from a photo shown to them by a neighbor who I had spoken with yesterday at 6:30 in the morning, a wonderful woman who went around to all the people she also knew, sharing his picture and putting the word out. And then they saw his post online.

I missed the call at first, but called right back, and I have never felt so much relief, fear, joy.. just everything. The last two days have been horrendous and I wouldn’t wish this stress on my worst enemy.

Aladar was found about a mile and a half from the house. He has been running loose since Saturday night. Over 70 ticks have already been removed and I’m sure there will be even more.

But he’s safe and curled up in bed and I cannot even begin to describe how wonderful of a feeling that is.

Thank you, everyone. I was loosing faith in finding him but because of all the shares and the donations and the messages of support, he’s home.

This year, Over Yonder Photography grew in more ways than one—new faces, new places, new challenges, and new creative chapters. From soulful portraits to high-energy action shots, it’s been an honor capturing the connection, power, and personality of the dogs you trust me with.

This year also marked a big step forward as we branched into videography, allowing us to tell your dog’s story not just in still frames—but in motion. Watching this side of the business grow has been incredibly exciting, and it’s only the beginning.

As we head into the new year, I can’t wait to keep creating alongside you. 🎥
