I’m making one final push for donations to our St. Baldrick’s team supporting kids who are battling cancer.

I have not had hair this long in over 15 years and I have not gotten a haircut since the beginning of the new year. So I apologize for looking a little “spikey” in this photo. 😉

This Friday it is all coming off. I will be shaving my head down to nothing to help raise money for childhood cancer research with the rest of the my team! Every dollar helps support the brave kids and families fighting this battle.

If you are able to chip in even a few dollars it would mean a lot and go to a great cause.

Had a splendid morning at the 27th Annual Sparks Turkey Trot!!! This tradition has been kicking off Thanksgiving in Sparks since 1998 when it first ran along Lincoln Way by the Marina! It is soooo cool to be part of something that has brought families runners and walkers of all ages together for so many years. 😎

The sunrise was chilly but the energy was great and the turkey suit was out in full force. Pretty sure that counts as peak holiday lyfe in Sparks. 😉

Happy Thanksgiving everyone. Hope your day started with some fun and a whole lot of heart. 💚🧡🦃

Don’t forget, tomorrow is the big day! Join us for the Sparks Heritage Museum 40th Anniversary Celebration & Fundraiser at the Sparks Museum & Cultural Center and Great Basin Brewing Company Sparks

Saturday, June 14th | 3 PM – 9 PM
846 Victorian Ave, Sparks, NV

Enjoy live music by WhiteWater, great food from Great Basin Brewing Co., a 50/50 raffle, a grand door prize, and a special keynote from Governor John Sparks himself (well… sort of 😉).

Plus, the museum will be open for self-guided tours and we’ll have antique police and fire vehicles on display outside and Sierra Swirl Soft Serve Ice Cream will be there and will be donating a portion of their proceeds to the museum too!. It’s going to be a great day in Sparks history, come be part of it!

I was informed there’s another kermes being held for a young adult who also lost their lyfe in the same tragic accident that took Israel from us.

This one is in memory of Jesse Bravo.
There will be delicious food and snacks, and all proceeds will help cover Jesse’s funeral expenses.
