When I was asked to take her senior pictures, I knew she had just returned from a year long study abroad. I was excited to incorporate the country’s culture into her session. This beautiful traditional dress just enhanced the beauty she already brought! We had an amazing time!

With spring around the corner, I can’t help but think of all the amazing teens getting ready to have prom soon! When I do these sessions, I can’t help but feel hopeful for the future. These teens are amazing and we are going to be just fine. And, we sure have a good time!

Summer sessions are in full swing and I am LOVING every second! Having repeat clients is my very favorite and it’s hard to believe I did this kiddos newborn photos! How are these kids always growing!

Have you ever had that feeling….
The feeling when all the pieces fit together in the most perfect way…
That magical feeling of complete perfection.
For me, this session had it all.
A beautiful senior girl with all the confidence and excitement a photographer could ask for? ✅
A beautiful horse that made the session new, different, and exciting? ✅
Light that literally made my heart stop the entire night as I captured it in my camera? ✅
Land so stunning that it took my breath away? ✅
To say that being a part of this session was a joy could not even begin to describe how it felt. Creating art like this that means so much to my clients will forever be the reason I keep doing what I’m doing.
And the fact that I get to do this for a job continues to blow my mind.
Congrats to this senior for an exciting milestone and thank you for letting me capture it!!

Happy New Year! I thought it would be a good time to introduce myself! Hi, friend! My name is Stephanie. I am a family and child photographer based in Spanish Fork, UT! Here are tens things all about me you should know! Do we have anything in common??

1. I have been married to my sweetheart for almost 17 years (dang, that is a long time!!). I love doing life with that man so much!!

2. We have 5 beautiful children who teach me about life regularly! Being a mom is the hardest and most rewarding thing I have and ever will do.

3. 12 years ago, we lost a baby at 2.5 months old to Congenital Heart Defects. That experience continues to define me as a person and as a photographer. My goal is to share more of that story here this year! He is the reason I am so passionate about preserving memories and creating family heirloom photos for families that will help tell the stories of us for generations to come.

4. I grew up in Boise, ID! I absolutely love it there!

5. I have lived in Utah for nearly 20 years now…which is absolutely crazy….time is such a weird thing, am I right??

6. I love to read, but I am not always great at making time for it! My goal is to read at least one book a month this year! Any good suggestions I should add to my TBR pile? Also, find me on GoodReads!!

7. I love some good fruity candy (currently loving gummy nerds and sour punch bites 🤤), but the classic Reese’s will always be a top favorite.

8. I really love to cook! You can give me a base recipe, but I won’t follow it super carefully…I believe measuring things just makes more dishes, so meals turn out a little different every time. It’s also the reason I’m not very good at baking. 😬😆

9. If you watch Survivor, please let me know…I am dying to find more people to talk to about season 48!!

10. You may find me belting out Broadway show tunes in my kitchen on a regular basis. And thanks to Ariana Grande and Cynthia Erivo, my children currently join me, which fills my heart with so much joy!

This moment deserves a spot on my feed. This sweet homeschooling family has made reading aloud a beautiful part of their family culture and this mom asked me to capture them doing this important family tradition. It was such a tender moment as I watched all four of these boys snuggle in with their parents and listen to the story. I feel so honored that I could capture a sacred thing for their family to remember this forever!

15 years ago, I married this amazing man! We didn’t know what life would deal us, but we have done it together, every step of the way! I couldn’t be more happy to share my life with him. He is the best of the best. Love you forever, Tim!

Friend! Spring is upon us and my spring schedule is finalized! My dates are already starting to fill, so contact ASAP for the most options! Below are the evenings I have available during April. Evening sessions will begin between 6-6:30pm and there are a few Saturdays that I have mornings available as well. If these dates don't work for you, please reach out and we can discuss other date options!
