My first baby started Kindergarten yesterday! I was an emotional wreck and spent the majority of day wondering what she was doing, if she was having fun, if she would eat enough at lunch, if she would understand her new routine, etc. I’m happy to report however that she had the most AMAZING day and was so excited to go back! Time is such a rotten thief. 😭♥️

These aren’t the best quality since I had to crank my ISO oober high but it’s still so great to have some photos of my babies visiting their Papa’s fire station and getting to explore the different vehicles and fire truck. I have not been great about documenting my family but I’m going to keep pushing to get better about it. ♥️

Thankful to have a little piece of NC in FL. The Smiths were stationed with us at Bragg and though we didn’t know each other much then, we’ve managed to connect here in FL and I couldn’t be more glad! They are such a sweet & fun family. ♥️ So thankful I got to shoot this extended family session for them last night!

When your bestie says she wishes you could take her maternity photos for baby number two, you drive the 11 hours and make it happen. 🤪

I was so fortunate that included me in every step of her pregnancy and birth with Noah. Not being able to be there for her pregnancy and birth with Emerson broke my heart. I knew I still wanted to be there for some small part of it, so I made plans to come up and attend her baby shower. While I was in town we did her maternity photos! I love her babies so much and I am honored that she would put her trust in me as a support system through her motherhood journey and as her photographer. It means the world. I can’t wait to meet baby Emerson one day soon now that she’s here! ♥️

S T O R Y T I M E.

Goldie and I used to work together when I was active duty at Cannon AFB. This was about 6 years ago. She reached out to me last week asking if I could squeeze her and her new HUSBAND in for a last minute session! 😍

Of course I was honored and so excited to capture her and this important and special milestone in their lives. I sent her a beach access point where we’d be shooting at. The day of the session when we meet up, they tell me that this access point and this beach was where they had their first date! 🥹 Talk about full circle. My heart melted and I was so thankful we reconnected. The universe knew this would be a special session for the both of us.

Congratulations Goldie and Patrick! I wish you years upon years of happiness and love! 💍♥️

Oh hiiiii! 👋🏼 Jumping on here to say hello and to say that I hope you are all doing well in the state of our world currently. Please stay healthy because I want to see all of your smiling faces again!

Little life update: I had my baby. Samuel was born February 19th and has been the sweetest addition to our family. His big sister is utterly obsessed and likes to consider him all hers. She’s an amazing helper and we are thankful to say that he has been such a happy baby!

We are so blessed to have brought him into this world at the time we did. I feel so deeply for those mamas and families who are being affected by this pandemic and are not getting the birth experiences they have so long planned or hoped for. While I may not understand the fears you’re having, I see them and I acknowledge them. My heart goes out to you and I wish you all the healthiest and safest deliveries possible! I am here if you need an ear.

Thank you to everyone who has reached out and continued to show support to our small business owners and to local businesses. They appreciate it more than you may know. While I may not currently be working and do not have plans to until a bit after things are considered “safe” again, I did want to say that I value each and every one of you and am so thankful for the friendship you’ve given me and the appreciation you’ve shown for my work by choosing me to be your photographer in the past.
Please continue to be safe and healthy. Wash those hands and snuggle those loved ones of yours that you’re quarantining with.

Times are tough but I pray that we can all try to be thankful for each day we have been given and to find some hope amidst dark times.

Just appreciating how amazing this sweet little guy was for me. I sent out his gallery today, his mama loves it, and I am officially on maternity leave. Soaking up this nesting stage and preparing for my own little dudes arrival in just 4 short weeks!

This new family of three made my last session before maternity leave nothing short of perfect. Baby Grayson was the sweetest, sleepiest, most adorable little guy.
To all of my clients and friends, thank you so much for choosing me to capture the seasons of your life. I am forever grateful for each and every one of you and your endless support. Although I may not be working for a bit, you can bet I will not put my camera down. I cannot wait to see and work with you all this summer :)
