Here is your reminder to get the family photos. Let me tell you why….

My family has never had professional photos. I wanted to take some, so I scheduled them with a photographer. I booked her fall minis and I made the color palette and told everyone where to be and when.

My grandma wasn’t feeling good and my grandpa didn’t want to take the photos, he doesn’t like them. Yet the saturday before me, my sister and grandma went to TJ Maxx to get granny an outfit for these photos. We had so much fun. Little did we know.

That following saturday we went and got our first family photos taken. Everyone was there, smilies, laughs, all the things. I can remember it so well.

Two weeks later, on the dot my grandmother passed away!!! Now tell me that isn’t God!

The only things we have left of here, years later, is photos and memories. That’s all.

This post is dedicated to Kira & Sam’s ceremony…the way it felt, looked, and sounded.

The ceremony is one of the most meaningful parts of a wedding day. It’s where every promise is spoken, every emotion settles in, and two people begin the next chapter of their lives together. It’s more than just saying “I do”, it’s a moment filled with love, commitment, and the people who matter most.

Having a family friend officiate made their ceremony feel so genuine. It was filled with stories that made everyone laugh, moments that brought tears to so many faces, and all the little in-between memories that can’t be planned, like an airplane flying overhead at just the right time and Grandpa with his camera documenting it all.

Family and friends traveled from near and far to be there, surrounding Kira & Sam with so much love and support as they exchanged their vows. Their ceremony was filled with joy, laughter, happy tears, and the kind of moments that make a wedding day truly unforgettable. Because while the celebration is unforgettable, the ceremony is truly the heart of the wedding day.

Happy 4th of July!! 🇺🇸❤️

I couldn’t think of a more fitting wedding to share today. This day was small, intimate, and filled with so much love. Every single person there made me feel so welcome, I genuinely felt at home.

And can we take a second to appreciate how absolutely stunning she is?! 🤭 These photos will forever be some of my favorites. Happy Independence Day! ❤️🇺🇸
