JUST AN UNBELIEVABLY EPIC WEDDING DAY IN MOAB

So incredibly excited to share some sneaks from K&D’s beautiful garden party wedding at

We started off the day with a first look at one of my favorite locations in Arches National Park. We then had a lovely ceremony kicked off with their pup looking like a queen walking down the aisle in true dog show fashion. The couple said “I do” with the beautiful Moab red rock backdrop. Speeches were given as the sun set over the Mesa. Once it was nighttime the dance floor opened up with some -interesting- gyrations. Once the 10pm Moab noise ordinance hit, it was time for the Silent Disco!! I had such a great time with this amazing couple and their families and friends!!

This was my first time capturing a wedding at and I loved every minute of it. It’s such a great venue!

Congratulations to the newlyweds!!

SHE SAID YES ON A HILL BETWEEN TWO DIFFERENT WEDDING COUPLES DOING FIRST LOOKS BECAUSE IT’S A REALLY POPULAR PHOTOGRAPHY SPOT…

But it all worked out!

These two were so much fun as we laughed, boogied and frolicked as the sun went down. She had a sneaking suspicion but that didn’t take away from this very sweet moment.

I tell all of my clients that while a complete surprise is what we target, sometimes suspicions are unavoidable - I do live in one of the most scenic states in the union after all…

But ya know what?

That’s totally ok! I’ve found that proposals where the person getting proposed to has a feeling it’s coming almost always has the same if not better reactions simply because they’ve had time to mentally prepare for this grand moment!

So if you’re proposing don’t stress yourself out about the surprise because at the end of the day you’re:

1. Getting married
2. In a beautiful location
3. And you’re going to have badass photos of all of it!

SHE SAID YES JUMPING UP AND DOWN NEXT TO A CLIFFSIDE IN MOAB!!!

What an absolutely amazing surprise proposal down in good ole Moab, Utah. JM got her pretty good and her reaction was electric!

We had such a great time riding into the beautiful Moab sunset showing of that new ring 💍

I’ll never get tired of capturing proposals! 😅

SHE SAID YES ON A CLIFF IN MOAB!

This was by far the most “earn your turns” type of proposal I think I’ve ever done! V at last minute (a week before) pivoted our location and wanted to chase something grand. After a few miles overlanding over rocks and a short hike to the hidden endpoint, he found me - as usual waiting at the viewpoint like a leprechaun with his pot of gold at the end of the rainbow (very apropos for today!) ☘️ This was also with me waiting for an hour without service or his location 😅

Sometimes you gotta risk it for views like these - as V put it “the juice was well worth the squeeze!”

We had such a great time on cliff side in Moab. This might be a new favorite spot… if you’re up for a little adventure 😊

BRYCE CANYON

This wedding day in Bryce Canyon was nothing short of gorgeous. D&S were incredibly intentional with their day, focusing not only on each other but also the beautiful land and scenery to which they were dedicating each other upon.

The walls of the canyon were magical as the sun descended, accentuating the beautiful hues of the red rock. This location was very meaningful to the couple and I am so glad that they brought me along to capture it all. The ceremony (to be shared later) was scenic, emotional and joyful.

Bryce was absolutely perfect :)

When your clients take you to a location dear to their hearts that is more amazing than you could ever imagine…

Still not over how grand and epic this session was down in Moab. 2027 can’t come soon enough so we can do it again on their wedding day 🤠
