Starting around 9, they refuse to use teeth. This lasts many years, and is compounded by awkward growth and braces. Then we circle back in high school, that is if we could even get them to take a photo for us at all!
My goal is to not force a smile that isn't rleaxed and authentic. If this is how your 11 year old smiles, then so be it. Embrace it, make art of it. If it was good enough for Leonardo DaVinci, its good enough for me!
