I’ve been thinking a lot about AI lately. Artificial intelligence. It has gotten so good that it can create any photo better. It just can. I can take any photo I have of Holy Hill and add any dynamic, sky, animal, you name it - to the photo. And it’s looks pretty darn realistic. But what can’t it replicate?

Experience.

The future of photography is mucky. But regardless. Nothing can replicate the experience of watching a sunrise. The thing I love most about photography is that I can look at any of the thousands of photos I’ve taken and be transported back to that moment of time I took the photo. Artificial intelligence can’t do that.

That Monday, err I mean Tuesday, feeling. Summer mornings at Holy Hill are great. This is one of my favorite vantage points in summer. I love the landscape and church silhouetted against the sky. The horses in the foreground are just added bonus.

I am all for using and mining the resources we have in this country. But some places should be off limits. This place is absolutely one of them. And from what I’ve read, it is all companies based outside of the United States as well. What a shame
