From an at home family session in Eau Claire with one of my favorite families. I’ve shot their engagement session, wedding, first child, second and now third at their beautiful new home. At home sessions can be a lot easier and more fun for the kids. As they love to show me their favorite toys take snack breaks and sometimes even jump on the couch!

It’s finally here, my favorite month! Happy October!

I’ve created a photo a day challenge/ bucket list ( check my stories today) for myself in hopes that I would create more fun in my home and life this season ( eek! or is to escape reality from what’s happening outside of it 😬?).

Anyway...If you know me, you know I live for Halloween. We have a Halloween party nearly every year and we deck the house as spooky as we can. So yah, I’m a bit sad about it all. But!!!! You guys!!! There is so much we can still do to create magic for our children, our family, our community and ourselves! Look, make, create, celebrate, slow down and get a little spooky! 👻

Took a little break from social media but I’m back to bring you more family photography on film in 2020! This photo is from a fun session in downtown Milwaukee. Consider a walk through the city as an alternative to the park or beach for your family photos! There are lots of great archways, doorways, sidewalks, benches, sculptures and murals for your backdrop. There’s always a quick stop for coffee and ice cream too😉.
