This is INSANE!!.... to shoot 8k footage on our new camera we need at least one of these cards... which cost over $500!! When shooting weddings you need 2 of these! So that means it cost over 1k just in SD cards to film 1 wedding! INSANE!!

Sunrise --> Sunset Elopement in Yosemite!🌄

5:30am alarms, coffee before sunrise, and ending the day standing on the edge of Taft Point... safe to say Lyndsey and Gabe understood the assignment. ☀️🏔️

These two traveled all the way from Upstate New York for a Yosemite vow renewal, and instead of squeezing everything into a few hours, they decided to experience Yosemite from sunrise to sunset.

We started the day at Glacier Point before the sun even peeked over the mountains. Watching the first light hit Half Dome while these two soaked in the moment together was pure magic.

After sunrise, we wandered through Yosemite Valley, chasing good light, big views, and a few moments that weren't on any timeline. Then we hit pause for the middle of the day. One of the underrated perks of a sunrise-to-sunset elopement? You don't have to be "on" all day. You can grab lunch, take a nap, explore on your own, and come back refreshed for round two. And trust us, Taft Point was worth saving some energy for.

As golden hour rolled in, we made our way to Taft Point where Yosemite decided to show off. The cliffs, the light, the views, and these two celebrating their marriage all over again made for the perfect ending to an unforgettable day.

One of our favorite things about full day elopements and vow renewals is that there's no rush. You get to actually experience the place you traveled so far to see instead of feeling like you're checking boxes on a timeline.

Honestly, a pretty solid decision.

These two spent their wedding day exploring the mountains above Lake Tahoe, taking in the views, and making memories they'll probably still be talking about when they're 90.

And now we're off to Yosemite for a week of full day hiking elopements. The mountain season is officially here. 🥾

Mammoth Lakes is an absolutely ridiculous place. 🗻

The eastern Sierra mountains have this crazy, towering scale that makes you feel completely tiny and totally inspired all at the same time. Looking at this frame from a recent gallery, I’m still not over how the rugged, jagged peaks blend into those soft sage fields—and how perfectly these two brought the romance to a wild mountain landscape.
