Well, yesterday my girl got the surgery we’ve been waiting for… and it was unfortunately unsuccessful. So now we wait for this incision to heal, and the swelling & fluid to go back down before trying again.
On the plus side, we were able to see EXACTLY what is going on, confirm that it is in fact her bicep tendon, and that there is a small tear that’s causing all of the issues.
I could not be more grateful for her orthopedic surgeon that attempted to do the scoping and his team. Fable really struggles with new people, especially doctors and handling, and she absolutely adores them. I can tell that they adore her just as much, and have done an amazing job making her feel comfortable and like one of their own.
I feel terrible that this means she’ll be out of commission for longer, as it’s been just about a year now of not being able to do the sports she loves. But she is happy and enjoys the walks that she is able to go on. We’ll get there soon, punkaroo.🩵💕
