Hey! I’m Dakota! Your laid-back photographer from South Haven, Michigan. If you love golden light, sandy toes, and photos that actually feel like you, we’ll probably get along great.

I’m happiest near a body of water with my sweet pup Roscoe by my side. When I’m not editing, you’ll usually find me relaxing with family, taking Roscoe on adventures, or curled up watching a good Tarantino movie or my latest binge-worthy show (The O.C. will always be my number one). I’m in the sand all summer long, whether it’s long days at the beach or riding around the sand dunes (don’t judge the amount of sand in my car). I love the simple moments and little joys of a day.

For me, photography is all about the real moments - the chaos, belly laughs, kids running wild, snuggles, quiet glances, and all the in-between stuff you didn’t plan but end up loving. I’m not a “perfect pose” kind of photographer. My sessions are chill, judgment-free, and made so you can just be yourselves. I guide a little when needed, but mostly I let life happen and capture it as it is.

Winter Minis ❄️🤍
I decided to open up a couple winter mini days this year, and I’m so excited about it.
Black River Preserve is always beautiful in December.

I’ll be offering two dates:
Sunday, Dec 7th
Friday, Dec 12th

$175 | 15 minutes | 5 edited photos
