We went camping in Assateague MD a couple of weeks ago. We were visitors in the horses home. We had visitors everyday, they are such beautiful animals. Unfortunately the mother of the foal passed away the day after we got home. She and her foal were victims of a hit and run while we were there. We were able to see the foal improve over the 10 days we were there. After Moonshadow passed away they moved her foal to the Virginia side where they provide medical care and she is improving and doing well.
