Light directors play a big role in shaping the overall concert experience for fans. Light design is such an incredible art form. Those lights are not on auto; a person is playing the lights (which takes a ton of planning and programming well before showtime!). Next time you are enjoying live music that has a light show, be sure to soak the lights in; notice how the lights fit the mood, are in time with the music and just how freaking cool they are. Here are some of my favorite shots of mine highlighting lighting, mostly from this year, with the last 2 back from 2022.

As I have been reflecting on the past year, its been fun going through photos to remind myself of the shows I was fortunate enough not only to attend, but to capture, and the people I've been lucky to interact with.

My goal is to share some highlights with you all every few days to close out this year, and ring in the New Year.

I had the privilege of capturing so many moments with this week! From rehearsal to their SOLD OUT FINAL TWO SHOWS at . This is a special group of incredibly talented, kind and fun people. The love and friendship of being together for 30 years is like nothing I've experienced before. They are a family, and it extends beyond the band members, not only to their families, but to close friends and to their fans, especially from the early days.

There are so many photos to share! Really and truly, stay tuned for more.
