Some sessions are special… and then there are the ones that mean a little more.
My first Fresh 48 session just happened to be one of the most meaningful sessions I’ve ever had the privilege of photographing—because this wasn’t just a sweet new family I was meeting for the first time. This was my brother becoming a dad, and our family welcoming the newest little love into our lives.
Getting to stand behind my camera and watch my brother and sister-in-law meet their baby for the first time was something I’ll never forget. The tiny fingers, sleepy snuggles, those brand-new baby sounds, and the overwhelming love that filled the room… these are the moments you wish you could bottle up and keep forever.
I’m so incredibly grateful that they trusted me to document these first precious hours. Being able to preserve these memories for them—and someday for their sweet baby to look back on—means more to me than I could ever put into words.
And now I can officially say that Fresh 48 sessions have a very special place in my heart.

Okay but can we talk about how freaking CUTE this beach session was?!

I had the best time capturing this mama and her two girls! There was plenty of smiles, laughs, playing in the water, and all those sweet little moments in between.

This is your reminder that you **do not need a special occasion to book family photos.** You don’t need perfectly behaved kids, matching outfits, or some big milestone. You just need your people. I’ll take care of the rest.

Some of my favorite highlights from this fall! Loved working with this family again for the second year. Between seeing the kiddos grow and my skills improve, I had a blast! Along with those were my first senior session. I wasn't sure what to expect when I was informed "she wants to bring her chicken." but we made it work and they came out beautiful!!
