Believe it or not it's been a full DECADE of these not-so-Weekly Wednesdays, so in light of that not-so-easy feat, the current November political happenings in Indiana, a MASSIVE beautiful city/ state/ national/ international No Kings Protest this past month (*the likes of which I've rarely ever seen in over a decade of capturing coast to coast professional protest photography in the USA), and a thankful spirit for the Indiana state Republican & Democrat politicians standing up a certain guy's bullying attempts at forcing an unprecedented mid-decade gerrymander, I'll be sharing my professional imagery of Hoosier patriots coming together against tyranny!

This week's story is that of Saturday this past week or what was Flag Day, No Kings Day Protest June 2025, & apparently Trump’s birthday… or his failed/ lowly attended military parade thingy.
In the same time zone as that sad parade there were countless protests across both Republican & Democratic cities in the entire United States- often in numbers of around 6% of the population of these large and small cities & towns. This far blew the 1st local protest of the year out of the water- escalating it by 50 to 65% with attendees across all walks of life, education levels, ethnic backgrounds, and more. All across the nation there- at my last view at some trusted media sources- appeared to be around 13 MILLION attendees of protests. This was seen across both major cities and small towns- both predominantly Democrat and Republican (*our 2 main parties within the USA "democracy" system)-!

Aaaaand I’m back to serve up some more hot tea (a la Boston Tea Party).
As I shared last week, I’ve been out & about over the past month capturing some of these tumultuous times & the brave folks fighting for democracy in the United States. This month (May 2025) started off immediately with a governmental Public Hearing about the potential immense expansion of the construction of one of the new local AI Data Centers- already the most lucrative investment in Indiana’s history to date. It’s no secret that this year has started out a bit rough (*understatement of the century) in these first 5 months of the year/ start of a new presidential tenure here in the United States. Because of this, Jenny was out all last month capturing everything from a small tornado's destruction to the continuous protests in South Bend, Indiana (and across the United States) to civilian meetings with the government about one of the proposed 30 AI Data centers for Indiana- one being the largest investment in Indiana history. Happy (not-at-all-)Weekly Wednesday-!
Since we've barely work blogged @ all this year (well, more than once a season seemingly vs the 25 last year), we figured we'd share some midwest autumn with B & B's 6th Annual Portrait Session-! Jenny captured this Session (*with Jason assisting/ carrying their dog treats) recently here in Indiana and we were thrilled to get to see these 3 again. The weather was wonderful & possibly the last of the year, so we're very glad things cooperated for this little fam.

These two celebrated their beautiful summer wedding day here this week in South bend Indiana at The Blue Heron at Blackthorn Country Club-! Though shockingly the 6th day straight in the upper 90s, these two lucked out with beautiful clouds & a cool breeze that all rolled in right before their outdoor wedding ceremony-! Whew! Welcome back to Not-Weekly-Not-Wednesday’s wedding of Texans Keirstin & Kaelan!
These two were wed over the weekend this past week in April on a balmy 80 degree hot, humid spring day that thankfully didn’t rain as forecasted! These two celebrated their big day across 3 cities & 4 locations including Morris Park Country Club, St. Joseph Cathedral, & Notre Dame closing out the evening with a beautiful sunset, late night snacks, & the biggest night (glow stick) exit we've ever captured in nearly 15 years-!

Now nearly 40 years after the United States first proclaimed the official "National Women's History Month" as March back in 1987 we continue to celebrate women all month long-! Brought about about a decade after the first official February "National Black History Month" in the United States (in 1976), this month celebrates women of all walks of life-!
Feminist Fact of the Day: Did you know that single women were only given the freedom to own a credit card in their own name as of 1974 with the creation The Equal Credit Opportunity Act...? Over the weekend we captured our first corporate event of 2024: Jamil Packaging Corporation of Mishawaka’s whopping 50th Anniversary over at the brand new Four Winds South Bend Four Winds Casinos ’s Hotel-!
The party celebrated Jamil’s employees, friends, business partners, & owner family themselves! Jamil is a family-run corrugated cardboard company here in Michiana (next door in Mishawaka, Indiana). The corporation/ corrugated cardboard factory was started here in South Bend by a family in the mid-70s, was purchased by its current owner family in the mid-90s, and the rest is history!
