Rachael & Mike had already done traditional engagement photos before hiring me, so they wanted this session to feel creative and true to them. We started inside the statehouse, then made our way to Brass Eye at the Junto—where they’ll also be tying the knot in August. We ordered his and hers cocktails, laughed a lot, and just let the evening unfold. I remember Rachael saying at one point, “This feels so much like us… this is what we love doing together.”

So here’s a peek at some flash-filled moments that capture them. A little lighthearted, a little romantic, and entirely true to who they are.
