I just got a note of thanks from someone who PAID me to do something for them. Sending “thank you notes” is a lost art but one I still appreciate. I’m ol’ school like that. I try to send acknowledgements when my life has been graced by other’s kindnesses, but I sometimes forget.

When someone blesses you,
-thank them.
When someone extends unexpected kindness towards you,
-thank them.
When someone goes out of their way for you,
-thank them.
When someone invests in you and makes a difference in your life,
-thank them.
When someone meets a need you didn’t even know you had,
-thank them.
It’s important to say those things.

I need to go write some “thank you notes”.
