Interstate 80 at the Donner Summit area is at a dead stop and has been for at least 30 plus minutes. Hopefully we start moving soon. Glad I got gas in Nyack before getting stuck in this!

Almost 1300 words written tonight. The most I've written outside of school in a few months now. I'm honestly not sure where this project will go, I'm kinda just going with whatever comes out but it's starting off with magic and sword fighting, so definitely going to be in the realm of fantasy.

But now to bed, as my eyes are starting to hurt.

About to start my day at work. I hate the dryness my face gets when I allow my beard to grow out. Then I shave it off and it just stands out so badly 😢 I never dealt with this before we had to start wearing masks during Covid. Anyone else deal with this kind of issue now? No matter how much I was my face or put on lotion, this happens to me. Ugh.

Anyways, hope y'all have a blessed Sunday and stay cool for those who are dealing with hot 🔥 temps like we are here in Central Valley California.

Hi everyone, happy new year. I've been avoiding saying anything here on Facebook or anywhere on social media about this but my family and I have been living out of hotel rooms for just over a month now, since November 19th. Things have been rough for us. The kids have had high spirits throughout but I can tell it's taking its toll on them just as it has on me and Tiffany. We are struggling to keep up with paying for the rooms as they are getting expensive, even though we are going to the cheapest we can find in Modesto. It adds up on us and we still have a few bills to pay that have been hard to take care of. Plus, we have to be able to afford food for us all and I'm still waiting on the county to approve or not, our application for foodstamps while we are trying to find housing. We've been in contact with several agencies that could possibly help us but we are struggling. With Tiff's parents living at the local shelter, it's hard for us to make the choice and go to a shelter ourselves. Me and Tiffany are both working but as I mentioned, the expenses are getting too high and my car has also decided to start going out(which is expensive by itself to fix and I don't have the extra funds for that either). We need help! Desperately! I know some might wonder if we were living above what we make? We were affording the apartment we had but they wouldn't let us pay the rent late after Tiffany missed 2 weeks of work at her main job that was out her control at the end of August, beginning of September. So we got evicted from the apartment and have struggled getting a new one. The agencies I mentioned earlier could help but they're stretched thin in this county and it could take time for them to be able to find us a place or if we found one, advocate for us. If anyone can help, please message me or Tiffany. I don't know if we are going to be able to afford to push our current hotel past this weekend 😑 because I messed up and thought the points I had on my Choice Rewards app was going to be enough to cover another week until Tiffany's next paycheck next week on Friday. We need at least a minimum of $800 to get our room secured until Tiffany gets paid again. My last check wasn't high enough with some of my work days cut short for the holidays and days off. I wouldn't be asking if we weren't desperate and I wasn't such an idiot for thinking I knew what I was doing. I had never used this particular app before.

Please help me help my babies keep this roof over their heads!! Abigail goes back to school next week too from winter break and I am scared for her. She's been strong throughout but I can see it that she's not liking this at all. None of us are. Jeremiah doesn't really understand what's going on. Please, we need a miracle 🙏🏽 😢 We're currently staying at the Park Inn here in Modesto, it used to be known as the Motel 6. Please 🙏🏽 Lord, help us!! Someone help me!! 😢😢

Just started to listen to this audiobook via yesterday, and I've already finished book 1 in the complete series. Definitely a good listen, and I love the sound of Oliva King(who makes, at least to me, Charlotte sound a lot like a young Hermoine/Emma Watson). I've already added the other books these two have written together to my wish list and will be taking a gander at them once I finish "The Lochlann Treaty" because this is definitely an amazing series so far. ❤️

I honestly wasn't going to post this here and only keep it exclusive to but I wanted to stop by and share this small snippet that I wrote in about a few minutes earlier today while working on trying to start a new that will be some sort of story. I'm not sure yet which style it'll be, whether that's or another. As I build the outline and the full idea of the story, I'll ultimately figure it out or ask y'all for assistance.

Until then, enjoy this small piece of that I have made the time to do.

I hate to even be posting this or asking anyone, because I've always figured these things out myself, but my family and I are short on our rent this month, landlords won't give us extra time and if we don't pay by 5pm PST today, we will be forced out by 10/5 and on the streets. We've tried local groups that "say they'll help," but all we get is that they don't have funding. I'm going to post my Venmo if you're able to spare some loose change. But we need to come up with $1,200-ish or more to make it thru today. And I don't get paid till the end of the week, which the landlords won't give us until to come up with it. My wife has been out of her main source of income for 2 weeks, and that put us behind.

Morning 🌄 beautiful people! I hope y'all are having a blessed here in the United States. I know I don't post much about my upcoming debut novel , but it's a work in progress that's taking its time to come to fruition.

But I am here to post, that after a long year plus of not having a full-time position, my part-time position at my new job has now officially become a full-time position just shy of my first 90 days. Hard work paid off.

Yeah, at one point, I wasn't sure if I wasn't going to find a job during that year plus without one but thankfully I found this one, largely in part to help from my mechanics and them knowing my new boss was looking for a driver. I'm just thankful that they thought of me when it came to it. Without their help, I wouldn't be where I am today.

So, as y'all enjoy your weekend, I hope you keep you and yours safe out there.
