I get it. But here's what I know as a mom of six: your kids won't look at these photos and notice your hair or your tummy. They'll look for you. How you held them. How you looked at them.

☑️ Wash all the tiny clothes

A little news about 2027, and a little honesty behind it. 🖤

Next year I'm offering fewer outdoor family sessions than I have in the past.

Here's why. My six kids are growing up so fast, and I've realized I don't want to spend every sunny evening behind the camera. I want to be on the sidelines of my son's soccer games (I coach his team, and I love it). I want a few golden-hour evenings to belong to my own family, too.

Here's what isn't changing: every session I do take gets all of me. Same care, same golden light, same galleries you've trusted me with.

What this means for you:
✨ There will be fewer dates on the 2027 calendar for outdoor family sessions
✨ The calendar opens November 10, newsletter subscribers first
✨ If you know you want a session next year, being on the list is the best way to get one

Thank you for understanding, and for years of letting me photograph your families. It's the reason I get to make choices like this at all.

You're going to forget how small they were.

Everyone tells you this, and you nod politely, and then it happens. One day you're holding a baby who fits along your forearm, and suddenly they're asking for a snack and a phone charger.

I have six kids. I know how fast it goes. I also know that the tiny details — the curled-up feet, the way their whole hand wraps around one finger, the newborn stretch — disappear before you've had a full night of sleep.

That's what newborn photos are for. Not perfection. Proof.

Short answer: now-ish. 😊

Newborn sessions happen fast, often in the first couple of weeks, when you're running on love and zero sleep. The last thing you want is to be googling photographers at 3am with a baby on your chest. Book during pregnancy, and then all you have to do is text me when baby arrives.
