Don’t hire me if… 👀

👉🏼You don’t want a photographer who actually communicates with you (and more than a pdf).
👉🏼You’d rather figure out how to pose on your own.
👉🏼You don’t want someone who will guide you, hype you up, and make you laugh throughout your session.
👉🏼You have a problem with Diet Coke. Especially McDonald’s DC.😂
👉🏼 You don’t want my feed to reflect my personal life.
👉🏼You don’t want me to share about my travel or upcoming wedding…cause yep I’m a fiance too!
👉🏼You don’t care about an amazing client experience from the first inquiry to the final gallery.
👉🏼You don’t want someone who genuinely cares about the work they create for you.
👉🏼You have a problem with photographers who charges the rate they have set (it’s not a barter system)…

…okay, you caught me…also a photographer with an opinion😂

But seriously — you’re not just paying for pretty photos. You’re investing in an experience, someone who knows how to make you feel comfortable in front of the camera, and someone who is going to care about your photos as much as you do.

This girl is so full of energy and such a bright light! It doesn’t take much to get the vibe of someone and Madisyn had the best spunky energy!!
She loves willow trees so we found an area that definitely served its purpose along with the dreamy summer light!

Michigan doesn’t have these types of views so this crew came all the way to the PNW to have Jessica and Brandon’s ceremony at the top of Blue Mountain trailhead!

It was stunning with amazing terrain, and rain, and ominous skies and thunder and all incredibly beautiful!

The PNW never ceases to amaze me and surprise me with the ability to have the weather change on a dime but these two and their crew were up for the adventure and taking it all in!

So blessed to be able to adventure with such wonderful people!! You are such kind and gracious people and I wish you so much love and happiness Brandon & Jessica 🤍

Officially an empty nester!!

But…I have to give props to this girl!
Eva is a trooper! Heading into her junior year after a couple of years of finding her way!

It’s a journey not a destination! She is finding her people and persevering through classes and the challenges that come with change in majors and friends and simply growing up…and I’m so proud of her!

The path is not always a straight line but the resilience this girl has is incredible!
She is always kind and has the best sense of humor! We moved her into a townhouse and gosh I kinda wanna live there with all the amenities (but I have my own changes happening) 🤣!

I believe this is going to be a fabulous pivotal year for Eva and so excited as she heads towards completing her Bachelor of public health!

Love this girl so much!

2 tips when photographing an in home session:

1. Utilize doors to seem like you are peaking into their life (it can also hide a lot of other things that maybe in a room due to the addition of another human to their busy life).

2. Step back and let them touch and smell and sing to the baby…it’s amazing how it gives them something to do without getting crazy or needing to look at the camera but is a true family moment!
I don’t know what they were singing here but they all knew the words…in Arabic😄

Bonus tip: embrace the chaos cause moms are brave for attempting these sessions in the first 10 days of bringing home a tiny, needy, incredible human!

Kylie + Chris …added marriage to their list of PNW adventures!

They are one of the most outdoorsy, adventurous couples I know…to the point of buying a sprinter travel van before they were even engaged…if you want to know more on that story and their engagement session- you’ll have to ask me!

She made him wait a month for their first date (simply due to life delays 😆) but he will admit it was so worth it to find his person!
They are fun loving and had the best wedding day!

Made it official on their own homestead!! It was such a beautiful evening with so many little details! The perfect place to celebrate their love (and make it super comfortable for their 2 daughters).

Tegan is effortlessly gorgeous and Mitch is a one of a kind guy…together the perfect pair!
