Not only do I love a ceremony with such a fantastic view, but I love it when people customize weddings to who they are as people. I feel like everyone is realizing more and more how much you can do that, and I love it so much!!

There’s a lot to say about this year, but if I had to choose three words to describe it, it’d be:

Connection, Gratitude, and Scary.

First of all, being a small business owner is scary. I’ve never bet on myself so much in my life.

It comes with so much uncertainty and not knowing what the future holds.

But despite that, it’s exciting and I wouldn’t change it for the world. I find myself sitting in moments of gratitude more and more.

For the experience, for the little things, for the impact I’m making, and most of all, the connections I get to form with everyone I meet.

The more I do this, the more I fall in love with people, and get excited about having even a single conversation with someone.

I’ve lost a lot of people in my life, too many to count at this point, but it’s only made me value the connections I make even more.

I am also really thankful for the vendors that I’ve met along the way as well that I’ll get to keep working with for years to come.

Wedding days aren’t possible without a group effort, and I’m thankful all of you exist.

Here’s to growing more, forming more connections and friendships, and just enjoying the heck out of what life has to offer!

I love when I look over during ceremonies and see moments like these, especially when they're the parents of the couple. It's things like this that make my heart react like a cartoon animation.

Reason number 1 billion why I love weddings, moments like this! I was giggling the whole time. Not only do couples get to re-live their wedding days through their photos, but I do too! I get to experience the gratitude I felt that day, and the celebration all over again. It's pretty freaking cool.

These two were walking along and I had to stop them to get the moon in the photo with them. I also couldn't decide if I liked the black and white version or the one in color more! So of course they get both because why not?

They told me ahead of time that I'd love the tree where they had their ceremony and they were so right. They put so much work into making everything look beautiful and the tree really tied it all together! Also, she walked down the aisle to a song from the Princess Bride and my heart melted a bit at it.

If you ever want to go into a game store for your engagement session, I will always be on board for that. It's about you and who you are as people, and I want to capture your most authentic selves.

I had so much fun with there two, we started this engagement session in a game store, then went into the woods to take more photos, and ended here with their motorcycles. More photos are definitely to come, but I'm super excited about these especially. I also can't wait to photograph their wedding!

I know it's not Halloween anymore but I was busy photographing a wedding and have free will so I'm posting this awesome shot I got of now!
