I have the best clients! This was one of my first sessions down in SLC and it was absolutely perfect - gusty winds and all. Bring the horses - they’ll act like big toddlers but that’s okay - it’s totally worth it! It was a couples session but I had to lead the post with that shot - one of my absolute favorites!

I think the reason cowgirls are so tough is that there’s no fear of failing - falling off is part of riding, and riding is worth the risk and the only thing that matters is getting back in the saddle. 🖤 I can’t wait to edit more from this shoot with Riley Learned and Margie☀️

Chief is in training to be my photography assistant 😉 Before I jump on with all my gear, I wanted to make sure a Chief wouldn’t mind the saddle bags or the sounds they make. I also tested the noise while on they were on his back and walking.

A little sneak peek at this beautiful session. When we pulled up to the pasture, it was raining but we decided we would go for it anyway. As soon as we got out, the rain let up and the wind settled to just the perfect amount. I made a new mare bestie, who insisted in snuggling me half of the session, and all the horses were definitely the best supporting cast around.
