A fairytale story and love worth celebrating!

This wedding slideshow captures the beautiful union of Mr. Dante and Mrs. Mykal Wright, who were married this past weekend at the stunning Kiln Creek Resort and Golf Club in Newport News, Virginia. Surrounded by chic, modern décor and an atmosphere filled with intention and elegance, their day unfolded in the most meaningful way.

Even photographers need photographers!

Had an incredible branding session with the talented Suffolk photographer, Manika Watson Thomas. Every business, even ours in the photography industry, deserves fresh, impactful imagery that reflects who we are and what we bring to the table.

The goal from her branding session was to showcase Manika's fun, fresh and creative personality so her clients can instantly connect with the person behind the lens. We collaborated and planned wardrobe and poses to ensure that her vision aligned with her brand.

This weekend at The River’s Edge in Portsmouth Naval Station, love came full circle. What started with a simple right swipe turned into a celebration surrounded by family, friends, and the kind of joy that fills the air.

Today I had a wonderful time mentoring my friend and fellow photographer in the community, Marsha Watford. Sometimes we just need a little help along the way, and I'm so glad that I'm able to be there to answer her questions. We played with lights, practiced posing, and more. She speaks to my soul, since we both aim to photograph those who aren't seen and to bring out the beauty within. For her, she loves to photograph her church congregation, especially those who sit in the overflow sections. It means so much to her congregation members, and hearing her tell her story was so inspiring. Good luck, Marsha, as you work towards your PPA Certification!
