We always see old dwellings while driving the back roads - something I've been missing for 20+ years. Old barns are my favorite, so much history and memories. What was once functional now mostly covered with vegetation....and forgotten.

One of the questions we get asked by Realtors is why would someone need drone imagery of a property when they have GIS or Google Earth images. Below are three image comparisons of a 60+ acre property Drone Expedition LLC imaged (Left side of each), compared to Google Earth (right side). Besides the drone images being more current than any satellite rendered image, the level of detail available with drone orthomosaic imagery is unmatched. As you can see in the second set of images the house detail available is quite noticeable, as well as the google image being maxed out in ability to zoom in. The third set of images demonstrates the how much closer the drone image can be zoomed and still maintain clean resolution.

Last Monday, we had the pleasure of going to this workshop presented by Grand Canyon University and the Clayton Chamber of Commerce as part of the STEP: Student to Entrepreneur Program. We attended with a young entrepreneur we have been teamed up with as his mentor. I am so glad to see that these types of resources are available for today's high school students and look forward to see these young people thrive in their future endeavors.
