HAPPY SUNDAY FIREFLY FAMILIES!

🤍Dads... this one is for YOU! You’re time to shine!!!!

This year we are featuring a casual setting with our Dads & Denim Minis!

These were inspired by a recent visit to my home town and seeing my dad wear his cool denim jeans!

As some of you know, my dad was diagnosed with dementia for quite some time now, and as his memories fade, photos mean everything to him. In the end PHOTOS ARE ALL WE HAVE to remember moments and loved ones by. And that statement holds true.

My daddy taught and gave me my first camera and that spawned this passion of photography within me. Decades later, it’s still a passion that grows daily. I owe part of my success to him. So in honor of him I’m launching this series!

I felt that they celebrate fatherhood perfectly through timeless moments, connection, and clean classic style.

🎓Today my heart is so full. ❤️

I want to give a heartfelt thank you to the directors, staff, and students at Sisseton Wahpeton College for allowing me the honor of photographing your graduation portraits. I am beyond grateful for this tight knit community and the love and support you have continuously shown my photography over the years.

Some of these graduates today; first trusted me with their family portraits, seniors sessions, milestone sessions, and memories long before today’s celebratory event.

This morning, I stood behind my camera feeling incredibly proud to document their scholarly success and this huge chapter in their lives. Watching so many of you grow, persevere, and accomplish your goals has truly been inspiring.

Thank you for trusting me to preserve these memories. It means more than words can express.
