My wedding clients somehow manage to leave a little piece of their story in my heart.

These two love birds; Sina and Cody are truly one of those couples. 🤍

Sina & Cody, thank you from the bottom of my heart for trusting me to be such a special part of your wedding day and for choosing me to document one of the most beautiful chapters of your love story.

It was such an honor to stand behind my lens and capture your love in its purest, most genuine, and beautiful form.

Getting to document not only your wedding but your engagement memories; the laughter, the connection, and the love between you has been something I will always treasure.

Being invited into such meaningful moments of your lives and getting to know not only the two of you, but your family as well, has meant more to me than you probably realize.

The Valnes wedding day was ABSOLUTELY beautiful, but even more beautiful was getting to witness the love behind it all. The way they look at each other, the way they melt into each other, the way they love one another, and the way their story continues to unfold is truly wholesome.

Last week’s Pay What You Can Mini Sessions truly meant more to me than I can put into words ya'll. 🤍

To everyone who showed up with your families, trusted me with your memories, and allowed me to spend a little time getting to know you,THANK YOU.

It was pretty awesome seeing familiar faces, meeting new ones, and connecting with so many wonderful members of our Sisseton and surrounding communities.

Photography has always been so much more than simply taking a picture for me. It’s about freezing little moments, the smiles, the laughter, the chaos, and the people who mean the most to us. ❤️

I have a lot to say about love on a Tuesday morning so grab a quick snack and read on.

Some love stories are best told through photographs and I think I do a good job telling those stories 🤍

You can feel the love in the silence between two people, in the way they look at each other, the way they reach for one another without thinking, and the peace they bring into each other’s lives. I felt all of this when I met Jaylah and her fiancé. How gentle he was with her and how protective she is of his heart. I witnessed that. 🤍

In my personal experience, I’ve always believed that the right kind of love has the power to change us. Not because one person “fixes” the other, but because real love creates a place where wounds can finally begin to heal, walls come down, and hearts can feel safe enough to be vulnerable again.

In a world where love is often rushed, replaced, or taken for granted, finding someone who chooses you every single day is one of life’s greatest blessings.

That kind of love is rare. It’s quiet. It’s patient. It’s genuine.

And when I have the honor of standing behind my camera, I get to witness those moments that can’t be staged or faked. Trust me, I’ve photographed hundreds of couples over the years and I can always feel the love they have for each other.

This is why I do what I do and I think it’s pretty rewarding🤍

Every couple who trusts me with their story is giving me more than a photoshoot. You’re allowing me into one of the most sacred chapters of your lives; and that is something I will never take for granted.

The past 5 weeks have been such a blessing. I’ve taken time off this platform but I’ve been steadily busy behind the scenes with families, engagements, boudoirs, and weddings.

I also had the best time with The Metz family a couple of weeks ago, I absolutely loved spending time with them and taking their family portraits! They are so much fun and they sure can cook up a great meal! 🥘

I cannot wait for them to receive their gallery tonight and see all the photos we took, even the candid shots were perfection. 🤍 📸
