Yes, it’s the perfume bottle that matched the mood board. The rings on the vintage tray. The invitation suite you agonized over. Those are yours too, and they deserve to be beautiful.

But!!! It’s also your mom, laughing with you, blow drying your dress five minutes before you walk down the aisle. Her hand in yours, praying words of truth and blessing over your marriage. Your parents’ hands folded together in the front row, the same way they’ve held onto each other through every important moment of your life.

That’s the difference between a pretty gallery and one that takes you back.

I want both for you. Because ten years from now, it won’t be the perfume bottle you remember, it’ll be your mom’s laugh in that hallway.
