I’ve made the difficult, but necessary, decision to stop booking new photography sessions for the remainder of the year.

All sessions already on my calendar will go ahead as planned. If you were hoping to book, I’d be more than happy to talk about dates for next year.

This will be a season of many firsts for my family without my dad, and I know the holidays won’t be easy. I’m making this decision for myself and for my family. Thank you so much for understanding and giving us the space we need. 🤍

My dad passed away early this morning, and our family is heartbroken.

He was a very special man—my best friend and the glue that held our family together. To know my dad was to love him, especially his witty humor and the way he made everyone feel.

If you have a session coming up, please check your email for a message from me. I’ll be reaching out to reschedule or cancel your session—whichever you prefer—as I take the next few weeks to grieve and be with my family.

If I’m slow to respond to new inquiries, please know I’ll get back to you as I’m able. Thank you for understanding as I take some time to be with my family and grieve. 🪽❤️‍🩹

A new name, with so much meaning behind it [◉]

On Saturday, I married my best friend and officially became Mrs. Nelson. Carrying his last name is something I’ve looked forward to for so long, and now I get to bring that name into another part of my life that means so much to me.

Eliza Green Photography is now Eliza Nelson Photography.

This business has become such a special piece of who I am. It has allowed me to meet the most wonderful people, capture so many meaningful moments, and preserve memories that families will carry with them for years to come.

While the name and look may be changing, the heart behind it never will. I’ll still be the same person behind the camera—grateful for every family, couple, senior, and little one who trusts me with their memories.

Beginning this new chapter as Mrs. Nelson feels incredibly special, and I’m so thankful I get to bring all of you along with me. ♡

Here’s to a new name, a new chapter, and so many more beautiful memories to capture.

The dreamiest engagement session with Ashley & Isaac.

Their love was so easy and natural to capture, and we had the sweetest evening together. Sessions like this remind me just how lucky I am to do what I do.

I’m forever thankful for every couple and family who trusts me to capture their love, laughter, and the moments they’ll want to remember forever. It truly means more to me than you’ll ever know.
