Last year was the first time I saw a red-headed woodpecker on my property oh, it was a juvenile. I wonder if this is the returning bird. I think I know where the nest is. I've always loved this bird.

This guy, while standing in the yard, pointed out a coyote coming over the hill to the North. I didn't have my camera close enough to get the coyote, but later I got the much less stressed buck.
