Today I had the honor of photographing a love story more than 20 years in the making. April and Chester have walked through life side by side for over two decades, building a world together long before rings or titles ever defined them. And today, surrounded by their closest people in the most intimate setting, they finally spoke the words their hearts have known for years.

Watching them tie the knot wasn’t just witnessing a wedding — it was witnessing a promise renewed, a quiet, steady love that’s stood the test of time.

I’ve said it once and I’ll say it again — dogs bring an extra special touch to your session. 🐾✨

Jordan and Cade walked into their maternity session glowing with excitement, ready to step into their new journey as first-time parents. The love between them, the gentle anticipation, and of course their sweet pup stealing the spotlight every now and then — it all came together so effortlessly.

Four years old — that magical age where independence shines just as bright as curiosity ✨

This little one showed up with all the sass and s***k a girl could have, and like any typical 4-year-old, she wasn’t too sure about having her photo taken today. But through a few giggles, little hugs between shots, and even a moment where she got to turn the camera on us (because every boss needs her turn 😉), we found the sweetest rhythm.

By the end, we captured her exactly as she is — spirited, tender, and perfectly four. 💕🎂📸

Two hearts, one badge, and a bond built on trust, laughter, and shared purpose. 💙 Photographing this couple — both dedicated law enforcement officers — was such a fun and meaningful experience. Between the playful banter and the quiet glances, every frame told a story of strength and love that runs deep.

It was such a joy to capture their connection — the way they balance duty and devotion, and how effortlessly they bring out the best in each other. Sessions like this are such a reminder that love shines brightest in the everyday moments, even after long shifts and busy days.

There’s something incredibly special about getting to photograph a family year after year. This marks my third session with this beautiful crew, and each time I see them, I’m reminded just how quickly time moves. The kids are taller, the smiles a little different, but the love between them always feels the same — steady, warm, and full of laughter.

It’s such an honor to be trusted to capture these moments as their story unfolds. I still remember our very first session together and how we laughed trying to get everyone to look at the camera at once — now, they show up like pros, just being themselves, and that’s when the magic happens. These are the moments I hope they’ll look back on one day and remember not just what they looked like, but how this chapter of life felt. 💛

There’s something so special about capturing families just as they are — the giggles, the cuddles, and all the in-between moments that make them them.
