Another Throwback Thursday! 📸🍩

A little behind-the-scenes throwback to when I was photographing some of the delicious donuts from . Donuts that ’s Coffee used to carry— my youngest was my assistant for the day! 🤗

Every photographer needs an assistant, right? Especially one willing to help with the important job of donut photography. 🍩😉

These are the kinds of moments you don’t always see in the finished images—the little helpers, the quick setups, and all the fun that happens behind the camera.

And yes… sometimes the perks of the job are pretty sweet! 😋

I'm back from my short break to feature the final local business for my Feature Friday, Local Edition. Lava's Coffee was quite possibly the first business I had the opportunity of capturing product photography.

☕❤️ One of the things I love about highlighting local businesses is discovering (or rediscovering) everything they have to offer.

Lava’s Coffee is so much more than a place to grab your morning cup of coffee. It’s where friends catch up, coworkers meet, students study, and neighbors run into one another. It’s become a place that helps build community.

Over the years, I’ve had the opportunity to photograph many of their handcrafted drinks and delicious menu items, and every session reminded me how much care goes into every cup and every bite.
