What a magical, beautiful, fantastic, busy, exhausting weekend. My heart is so happy 🤍
First double header weddings of the year and in opposite ends of the state, followed by a sweet little baby and a family session today!
I have been sluggish on emails over the last 5 days so hang tight as I catch up on ZZZZs and get organized after a busy weekend!
There is always a lot of prep that goes into a wedding day, and having two back to back takes a decent amount of planning!
After all my camera gear was stolen in April I knew I needed to proceed through busy season as normal, despite anxiously waiting for answers from police And my insurance.
When I make a promise to photograph you day, to the best of my abilities, I will hold true to that no matter what.
Wedding prep for this weekend consisted of renting gear, only for it to be delayed in shopping, scrambling to reach out to photographers on the community to see who would be willing to borrow me/trust me with theirb equipment
(thank you & for allowing me with open arms to borrow cameras and lens)
Weekend prep doesn’t just stop with gear, but Begins with family.
As a single mom, I rely HEAVILY on my family, aka my mom, who has stepped up to the plate over and over to not only watch my child but keep her busy with new experiences and adventures.
I am a mom with an immense amount of guilt, and she always reassures me there is no room for guilt in our family, no matter how many times I apologize. Thank you so much mom, and someday I’ll pack her sleepover bag without forgetting something crucial😂🫶🏼
Lastly thank you to both my couples I was lucky enough to work along side this weekend. Both couples unique to their own way, but abundantly kind, easy going; and sweet. You made MY LIFE easier and it was YOUR DAY. Just by being the people you are.
Your friends and families gave me two days of support, encouragement, and praise, and during crazy times it means absolutely everything.
Now…more work to be done, but first maybe a nap??
