just a little peek into what last week looked like 🫶

a lot of holding space for women, a little stepping into something new for myself, and somehow still squeezing in mom life, dog mom life, and prepping for our first Airbnb guests (!!)

not pictured: voting (!), laundry, a fck-ton of iced coffee, and the fact that our first bnb guests left a five star review 🥹 and so did several bo***ir clients last week!! yay!

we took “trust the process” to a whole other level for this shoot. the sky was literally grey!! but betcha couldn’t tell...

i think people book bo***ir thinking the photos are the prize.

they’re not (ok they are a little bit hehe).

but the real prize is what these images will mean to you when you’re 60 and remember how much of a baddie you are.

when your daughter is grown and you want her to know what kind of woman you were outside of being her mom.

when this whole season of your life is just a story you tell.

your photos will mean more in 10 years than they do right now & that’s the whole reason to do it.

You’ll leave my studio with some hot AF photos. OBVIOUSLY.

But if I’m doing my job right, you’ll also see so much more than that in your gallery.

Your strength, your soft side, your personality, and the version of you that got buried under life for a little while.

That’s my favorite part every single time, the moment women recognize themselves in their photos and have PROOF that she’s still in there. 💞
