If it makes you feel good, photographs beautifully, and becomes a little souvenir to remember your self acceptance + celebration bo***ir session, babe, I’m NOT talking you out of it.

I’m very aware that self-acceptance is a practice (unfortunately like damn can’t I just wake up with 100% confidence everyday).

Sometimes the practice is following through for the version of you who KNEW this would matter before your brain started trying to talk you out of it.

Because I know at this moment, my body isn’t necessarily what I want it to look like ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
And it’s not like I’m hating on myself, I just hoped I’d love what I see by now and I just……. don’t!

But that’s okay. Because right now my body is a healthy body, and that’s worth celebrating.

I know future me is going to want these photos.

She’s going to want proof the woman I am, my body, this season of my life, and the fact that I chose to celebrate myself regardless of the hesitation.

Idk I guess I’m just saying… you don’t have to be fearless, you just can’t let fear make your decisions.

A few of my strongest opinions have had to humble themselves lately 👀

I used to be very committed to doing things the “right” way, which apparently included holding everything myself, letting laundry ruin my life, and acting like a robe couldn’t be part of the art.

Be so FFR!!

So I’ve had to have a little intervention and shift those opinions to remind myself that support is allowed, boundaries are healthy, and it’s OKAY if priorities change.

I’m curious, what’s something you used to side-eye and now fully embrace??
