When I decided to dance photography, I really wasn’t sure what to expect. This dance world can be so chaotic for the dancers, the teachers and the parents.

I will confess, of all the things I thought might happen at the beginning of it all, I hadn’t anticipated the amazing ladies I would be lucky enough to photograph, get to know, and continue to see at almost every photo shoot opportunity.

Thank you Olivia Odenbrett and Sonnet for being a huge part of why I love doing this, for always bringing your ideas, your willingness to try my ideas (even when they don’t work), and for never forgetting to let your amazing personalities shine through.
