We all have a unique story to tell. Let’s write yours today! I’ll arrive not just as your photographer, but as your guide, partner, and friend in adventure. My approach to wedding and elopement photography is rooted in connection. Getting to know you isn’t a formality, it’s the foundation of the experience we create together. Taking the time to understand your story allows us to craft something in

tentional, fun, and authentically you. I know how intimidating it can feel to plan something as meaningful as your elopement or wedding while also wanting it to reflect who you truly are. Together, we’ll create an experience that celebrates your relationship, allows you to be fully present, and becomes a core memory you’ll carry for the rest of your lives. As both your photographer and your guide, I’ll help you:
• Find the perfect location
• Build a simple, flexible timeline that leaves room for spontaneity
• Take the stress off your shoulders so you can focus on each other
• Feel comfortable, supported, and free to be yourselves

Whether you’re planning an intimate elopement, a destination celebration, or a wedding close to home, I’m there as more than just a vendor. I’m there as someone who genuinely cares about your experience.

Hot take:

The photos aren't actually the goal.
The experience is.

Great photos are what happen when you're fully present in a meaningful experience together.

That's why I spend so much time helping couples with locations, timelines, and planning, not just photography, because when the experience is right, the photos take care of themselves.

Big congrats to A + C on their beautiful day at the Sioux City riverfront.

1 week from today, I'm excited to be a part of Wind Therapy Ride event. Wind Therapy is a charity organization created to bring awareness to mental health issues and raise money for organizations dealing with trauma, anxiety, and depression.

If you have a ride you want enter into the photo shoot on Friday, June 12th all you have to do is show up. Pretty easy. They are always looking for cool cars and cool bikes. Ask for Renee and let them know you want to enter your ride. Here is what you need to know:

👉🏻 Registering your car or bike is free.
👉🏻 If you have a significant other you want to model it, bring them along. They can model your ride only. If you don’t, we have models there and will match one up with your ride.
👉🏻 Photos will be made available for sale through the photographer. Dates will be announced for this.
👉🏻 You are not guaranteed a spot in the calendar. A third party group makes that selection.
👉🏻 Photos are taken on a first come, first serve basis from 6-8pm. We have a hard stop at 8, no exceptions. This is to respect the bands time that are playing the event.
👉🏻 All bikes and cars need to be removed from the area after their photo is taken. If they are left there after 8pm, they will be towed. Let’s please respect the business that allowed us to use their parking lot.

See you there!

DRGAlejandro & I have been working together for years now. We've created 5 music videos, countless photoshoots, and we're now kicking off a recurring monthly content plan for his social media.

It's a huge honor when an artist brings you onto their team, but even more meaningful when they continue to trust you year after year. Loyalty is rare, and I'm incredibly grateful to be part of the journey as we keep building together.

Just got back from a few weeks solo traveling through Guatemala & El Salvador, and I’m still processing all of it.

I went in with almost no plan, just a loose direction, and it led me to better moments than anything I could’ve mapped out.

I spent a week living with a local Mayan family in San Pedro with spanish school in the mornings, and that ended up meaning more than anything else I did. Slowing down, walking the same streets every day, talking to people. I didn’t just visit, I got to feel what life there is actually like. By the time I left, I knew my neighborhood, the people in it, and their way of life.

From cliff jumping and hiking an active volcano, to riding in the back of trucks between cities, rappelling a waterfall, and surfing in El Tunco… every day felt completely different.. but the things that stuck with me most weren’t the “highlights.”

It was being invited into people’s homes.
Cooking pepián with Petrona in her kitchen.
Hearing Héctor talk about growing up in El Salvador when it was considered the murder capital of the world and what it’s become since.
Sitting on a sidewalk drinking with locals while they tried to teach me their Mayan language TZ'UTUJIL (one of 22 Mayan languages spoken in Guatemala)

I wanted to spend more time taking street photos but a lot of these communities are deeply traditional. Most of the trip I put my camera down out of respect and the intention to stay present but I managed to grab a few shots while I was there.

The photos here are from in between all of that. Small, real moments that usually get overlooked. Street corners, conversations, quiet pauses. The kind of stuff that says more about a place than any big landmark ever could.

Travel like this reminds me why I pick up a camera in the first place.

Just got back from a month on the road and jumping straight into the heart of photography season.

If you’ve been thinking about locking in your date, now’s the time. The weather is warming up and my schedule is starting to fill up fast.

I’ve still got some really solid openings left this year and into next, but they won’t hang around long.

If you’ve got an idea, a place, or even just a “we should probably start planning” feeling, reach out. I’ll help you figure the rest out.

Most people think they’re “awkward in photos.”
..Then this starts happening.

One of my favorite parts of the job is getting to know people enough that this shows up naturally. World Laughter Day felt like a good excuse to share a few of these.

Looking forward to a lot more of this, this year.

Feels a little like I’m in a slingshot right now… just pulled back and waiting.

Today marks one month until Allie & Cole’s wedding and the start of six straight weeks of weddings.

Six weeks.
Seven weddings.
A lot of caffeine.

This is defiantly the calm before everything picks up into full swing.

I don’t take it lightly getting to be part of these days. It’s a big moment in people’s lives, and I get a front row seat to it.

Really looking forward to the memories to be made and seeing what this stretch brings.
