Hello Sioux City, Iowa Government
or Sioux City Water Treatment
one of you guys should write for this grant.
To see the full fledged info
you need a membership to the grant website.
But I’ll give you a tip.
Some other local non profit
most likely has one
and can log in
and screen shot the appropriate info
for you.
I have heard talks
of a much needed update our treatment plant. Awesome.
But I also heard it was thought of as
“Too costly”
To move the plant elsewhere in town.
Here’s the deal.
If you want the community to keep growing.
It’s “too costly”
To keep ot where it is.
Where the roads are and how the river hits and all the fun stuff is near by everybody smells the embarrassment you’d normally be shoving in the closet frantically when people come over.
Like even our dump doesn’t even smell nearly as bad and your put that more out of the way.
Having that at an intro point to our town is a detriment to its growth and vitality.
Idk how much money this grant is for.
But if you have a good writer.
We’ve got a great shot.
Seeing as I just saw a YouTube video from a traveling dude talking about different towns not from here
stating we are famous for smelling bad.
Also that means who ever is making the choice on the winner will probably say
“Glad Sioux City applied!
We made this entire Grant just for them all they had to do was apply,
the whole state is embarrassed!”
It’s time to change.
Let’s not be that town anymore
There’s a lot of awesome things about this place.
We have made so many improvements.
Let’s get rid of the initial barrier keeping a lot of other good jobs and barriers out.
Grants to Iowa cities and counties for improvements to water and sewage systems throughout the state. Funding is intended to support projects such as water system
