At the beginning of the year, I made a goal list for my photography business and I'm pretty proud of how many boxes I've checked.

✔️ More weddings

BIG ANNOUNCEMENT!!

Life is taking us on a pretty big adventure...we're moving!!

What does this mean for BC Photography?
The answer is simple, I'm not giving up.

I'll be starting a new chapter, in a new town. And while I'm incredibly excited for what's ahead, I'd be lying if I said I wasn't scared too. But I am ready to see where this next chapter takes me.

Behind the Photo

This picture was taken in downtown Sioux City and I had to be very careful where I stepped because of how filthy it was. My goal though was to capture the scenery, and with Trasean standing right in front of that puddle to give us that reflection.

I'd say we nailed it!

As much as I love this photo in color, I think it's even better in black and white.

There's just something about black and white that makes certain photos feel a little more timeless and emotional.

Behind the photo

This photo wasn't planned.
We were surrounded by these tall wild plants and little white flowers, and I had Aubrey interact with them instead of just standing there and smiling at the camera.

And then came the laugh. ❤️
That's one of my favorite things about photographing people, sometimes the photo you end up loving the most is the one that happens in between the poses.
