Family sessions are basically joyful chaos in the best way. Running across fields, teasing each other, big laughs, group hugs, and all those tiny in‑between moments that make your heart squeeze. I love letting kids, both big and little, lead the way. Older kids bring their own kind of magic: the inside jokes, the easy banter, the way they slip right back into being playful the second the camera comes out. Watching the whole story unfold around them is my favorite part.

Fall is coming fast, and my calendar is already getting cozy. If your family is hoping for updated photos this season, now’s the perfect time to grab a date before they’re gone.

Chicken Butt. Ahahahah!

A very boy-ie boy session with these two. Between the wrestling matches, a couple bo**er jokes, and showing off some sweet muscles, I am completely here for it. I Love this style of session. Especially me being a boy mom who has seen and heard it before. It's authentic, it's fun, it's who they are right now.

The newborn stage is so fleeting, but it holds a kind of calm I never get tired of photographing.

I play this tiny game with little ones during sessions, a way to give them a task while I snap away. I pretend to “spray” a little glue on their feet, then I back up into my spot and spray some on my own feet too. The challenge: stay in your spot longer than I can. Whoever lasts the longest wins.

My record? Absolutely terrible. I lose almost every time, and kids love it, the triumph, the giggles, the “I beat the photographer!” energy.

These four little boys, though… they were next-level champions. By far the biggest winners I’ve ever had. I actually had to unglue them from their spots because they were so committed to staying put. It was the sweetest, funniest thing. Four tiny statues with the proudest smiles.
