Two years ago my husband and I decided to take our kids faces off of social media. At the time, it felt a little different and even unnecessary to some, but the more we learned, the more confident we became in that choice.

There are real concerns about digital footprints, identity protection, and how images can be used without our knowledge. While we can’t control everything, we can control what we choose to share.

Their milestones, their messy moments, their growing years, those are stories they should get to decide how and when to share someday.

With all that being said if you ever feel uncomfortable with me posting your children’s images on Facebook, tell me! We can cover faces or omit images with them all together. 🤍

Here’s my youngest 1 year old images. I think I might’ve been doomed with the photographers kid syndrome🤦🏼‍♀️
