In what feels like a whole lifetime ago, I was a preschool teacher, and this beautiful bride was one of my favorite little girls. Today, I had the privilege of watching her marry the love of her life, and it truly felt like something out of a dream.

These two reminded me that real love still exists—that it's worth waiting for, worth fighting for, and something to treasure. From the tears in her eyes before the ceremony as she talked about how deeply she loves him, to the moments where he buckled (and later unbuckled) her shoes because she couldn't reach… it was the kind of love that isn't just spoken—it's shown.

Watching little girls grow into incredible women is one of the sweetest gifts. What a beautiful day, and what a beautiful beginning...
