The Heavens Declare His Glory. ⚡️☁️
There are moments when creation seems to preach a sermon all on its own.
No microphone.
No stage.
No words.
Just a sky painted in colors that no artist could perfectly recreate- clouds towering higher than we can comprehend, and lightning breaking through them for only a second.
And somehow, in that second, I’m reminded just how BIG my God is… and just how small I am.
We spend so much of our lives rushing. Worrying. Planning. Trying to control tomorrow and even things from yesterday. We carry things as if everything depends on us.
Then God paints the sky like this.
Suddenly, whatever felt so big five minutes ago doesn’t seem quite as big anymore.
The same God who commands the lightning, forms the clouds, paints sunsets, and holds creation together is the same God who knows me by name. The same God that left the 99 in the fold to come find that 1 who wandered. Me.
Creation isn’t God—but creation certainly knows how to point back to its Creator.
Maybe that’s why sometimes all we need to do is look up.
“The heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of his hands.” — Psalm 19:1 🤍⚡️
