I usually offer 5 dates, but this year I’m only offering 3. With the weather being so unpredictable, I want to be extra careful about scheduling and avoid having to cancel on all of you beautiful families!

Celebrating Down Syndrome Awareness Month with the amazing Thiago and his family.

Thiago’s story began with uncertainty, a long NICU/CTICU stay, and open-heart surgery—but today, he is a joyful, energetic little boy who loves to dance, play soccer, work out with his dad, spend time with his siblings, and be right in the middle of family life.

His family’s message is one I’ll carry with me:
Down syndrome doesn’t define a person’s worth.

Thiago is so much more than a diagnosis—he is a son, brother, dancer, athlete, and the happy little boy who brings so much light to his family and to others.

And that smile? That’s the story. 🥹💙💛

I’m so honored to capture families like this and celebrate the beauty of inclusion, individuality, and every incredible journey.

Summer isn’t over just yet!
Before we trade sprinklers for sweaters, flip-flops for boots, and popsicles for pumpkin everything… this family is soaking up every last bit of this summer magic.

These are the moments I hope they remember—the belly laughs, the sibling giggles, getting completely soaked, and running through the sprinklers until they’re absolutely exhausted. The messy, silly, perfectly imperfect moments that make childhood so good.

When I suggested covering beautiful mama’s belly in glitter and gems, I wasn’t sure if she’d think I was completely crazy—but she trusted me and said yes! And wow, did she bring the vision to life.

This session was about so much more than a sparkly belly. It was about celebrating a precious rainbow baby, the journey that led to this moment, and the overwhelming joy of what’s to come. Every shimmer, every gem, and every smile felt like a reminder that hope can shine even after the darkest storms.

And when big sister & brother joined in with their own sparkly belly? Pure perfection.

Some sessions are extra special… and getting to capture my beautiful niece’s prom memories was definitely one of them 💖✨

Watching her all dressed up, glowing with confidence, laughter, and excitement made my auntie heart so full. I’m beyond grateful I got to be the one behind the camera freezing these moments in time for her. Prom only lasts a night, but these memories will last forever.

Motherhood with two little ones means planning a photo session around naps, snacks, moods, diaper changes, and hoping everyone cooperates long enough for a few sweet moments. It means getting yourself ready last, packing everything but the kitchen sink, and still somehow forgetting something important. 🤷🏻‍♀️

But in the middle of the chaos, there’s this magic.
The tiny hands holding each other.
The forehead kisses.
The way your babies look at you like you are their whole world.

Life with two is busy, loud, exhausting, and beautifully overwhelming all at once. And even when it feels impossible to coordinate schedules and make time for photos, these are the moments worth freezing forever. Because one day, the chaos we survive daily will become the memories we miss the most.
