Hawaii with the Grogans.🌴

When a text message turns into an incredible trip with even more incredible people. “Would you want to come to Hawaii with us and be our personal photographer, and watch the babies a few times so we can go on a date?” I didn’t even have to think about it. 1000% YES.

Many of you may not know this, but I also nanny part time, and I LOVE me some babies. So mix my love for photography, travel, babies, AND a rad family? Sign me right up! I joined in on some family fun, Chelsey and Gavin got some alone time while I hung out with the kiddos, and I became the official backseat bottle holder and goldfish handler. My camera was always there to capture all of the moments along the way so they could just be in the moment. I had an absolute blast! I wish I could share every single moment, but here are some highlights. Part 2 coming soon!

One of those weddings you want to also be a guest at… And that’s exactly how it felt! Full of our friends and family, and friends who turned into family… It was by far one of the most fun weddings we were lucky enough to be a part of. And I got to do it alongside my favorite fellow photographer, the one and only Baylie Hartenbach, my beautiful daughter. Kendall and Travis had the most gorgeous wedding in the beautiful hills of Tehachapi, my home town! And I want to do it over and over again. Their love is what most people can only dream of. I hope you both forever hold on to the love that I witnessed on this day, the kind that makes you always laugh with and at each other. 🫶🏼

I recently discovered that rainy day sessions are one of my FAVORITES! Also, so is this Mama and her sweet family… I’m so thankful photography brought us together, and for this friendship that has grown into one I never knew I needed. .photo, I adore your little family so much, and watching you two become parents has been truly amazing. Your love and faith is so inspiring, Vivi is the luckiest little girl. I LOVE that you didn’t hesitate for a second when I suggested a rainy day sesh, boots were ordered within minutes! My always down for anything yes girl, love you Mama.🫶🏼

Carissa and Richmond had the most sweetest, intimate, and personal wedding ceremony, shared between just the two of them and their adorable son. I’m so grateful to have not only photographed it, but I was also their witness! Such a special moment to share.

A little back story, Carissa is a very good friend of my Sister, she called me on a Wednesday and told me they were getting married on Friday! So of course I did what I had to do to rearrange my schedule and be there! I had to keep it a secret from my Big Sis until they shared the news with their family and friends later that day.
